Welcome to Dime n Dine. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Dime n Dine app, website, and related services.
1. Acceptance of Terms. By creating an account, accessing, or using Dime n Dine, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Dime n Dine, or at least 13 years old with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. Only adults may purchase a subscription.
2. Description of Service. Dime n Dine is a personal wellness and meal-planning tool. We provide AI-generated recipe suggestions, estimated macro and calorie information, grocery price estimates, pantry management, and related lifestyle features for your personal, non-commercial use.
3. Not Medical or Clinical Nutrition Advice. Dime n Dine is a wellness tool, not a medical device, healthcare provider, or clinical nutrition service. Any meal plans, macros, recipes, or recommendations are for general informational purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Statements made by Dime n Dine have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, exercise, or lifestyle, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, managing a chronic condition, or taking medication.
4. Food Safety and Allergens. You are solely responsible for verifying that any recipe or ingredient is safe for you and your household. Dime n Dine does not guarantee that recipes are free from allergens, contaminants, or ingredients that may conflict with your dietary, religious, or medical needs. Always read product labels, check for cross-contamination, and follow safe food handling and cooking practices. We are not liable for any adverse reaction, illness, injury, or loss resulting from the preparation or consumption of any recipe or ingredient suggested by the app.
5. AI-Generated Content. Recipes, macros, cost estimates, and other content may be generated or enhanced by artificial intelligence and third-party data sources. While we strive for accuracy, AI output may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You should independently verify all nutritional, pricing, and ingredient details.
6. Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
7. Intellectual Property. All content, branding, and software provided through Dime n Dine are owned by Dime n Dine or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. Third-Party Trademarks and Store Pricing. The grocery stores shown in Dime n Dine depend on your location and are selected based on the ZIP code you provide, so the chains you see may differ from those shown to other users. All store and product names, logos, brands, and registered trademarks displayed in the app are the property of their respective owners. Their mention in Dime n Dine is solely for price comparison and identification purposes and does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation. Store prices shown in the app are independent estimates based on regional averages, not official retailer pricing, and may differ from the price you pay at checkout.
9. Acceptable Use. You agree to use Dime n Dine only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not: (a) scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download recipes, pricing data, or other content from the app; (b) use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access the service or to submit excessive requests to our recipe-generation, import, or other AI-powered endpoints; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying models of the service; (d) resell, redistribute, or republish our content or data; or (e) interfere with, overload, or disrupt the service or the security of other users. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this section.
10. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Services. Dime n Dine may participate in affiliate or referral programs. When you click links to third-party retailers, grocery delivery services, or online marketplaces, we may earn a small referral commission at no additional cost to you. These commissions help keep the core app free. Affiliate relationships do not influence the allergen, dietary, or safety filtering applied to your meal plans. Third-party sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their products, pricing, fulfillment, or practices.
11. Subscriptions and Billing. Certain optional features of Dime n Dine require a paid Premium subscription, billed monthly through our payment processor, Stripe. Core features remain free to use. Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated billing interval until canceled. You can cancel at any time through your account settings; upon cancellation, you will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Promotional discounts and founder codes apply solely under the terms stated with the promotion and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with advance notice prior to your next renewal.
12. User Content and Feedback. You are responsible for content you import or submit, including recipe links, and confirm you have the right to use it. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
13. Account Deletion and Termination. You may delete your account at any time from the Identity & Goals tab. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties. The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dime n Dine and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
16. Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Dime n Dine is available to users across the United States. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the District of Columbia.
17. Changes to Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
